Zvikov Castle
The castle was founded at the beginning of the 13th century by King Přemysl Otakar and belongs to the pearl of Czech medieval architecture. The castle is located on a cape at the confluence of the Otava and Vltava rivers near the settlement of Zvikovske Podgradi. In 1978, Zvikov Castle was recognized as a national cultural monument of the Czech Republic.
The castle is open to visitors all year round.
A number of fairy tales and films were filmed here (“Seven Crows”, “Lotrando and Zubeida”, “What Love Tastes”, “Batory” and others).

Zvykov Brewery
In the vicinity of Pisek, in the family castle of Švamberkov Zvikov, a brewery existed as early as the middle of the 16th century. At the end of the XIX century, it fell into decline, unable to withstand fierce competition from large producers of the drink. Its revival began in 1994. Beer brewed at the Zvikov brewery has repeatedly won prizes at Czech beer festivals. Each visitor of the castle has the opportunity to watch the process of preparing this traditional drink with their own eyes.
Orlyk Castle
The castle was founded in the 13th century as a small royal fortress to guard the ford across the Vltava.
The castle is open to tourists, it presents collections of weapons and awards of the Schwarzenberg family, candlesticks and dishes of the 15th-17th centuries, old books. One of the most valuable objects of the ancient library is a set of 4 books, which exists in the world in only three copies and is called "Le Musée Français" ("Museums of France"). The interior of the castle is decorated in the Empire, Romanism and New Gothic styles.
